Hiryû-En, in japanese it means “the garden of the dragon wheel”, intended as the dragon that flies higher and higher in the sky, according to a continuous improvement. This is the name that his teacher, Nobuichi Urushibata, his Oyakatahe is assigned to the nursery bonsai Andrea Meriggioli.

            Young, Italian, enthusiast since early childhood by the plants of the garden of the house, and by the advice of his grandfather, Andrea Meriggioli, it soon became a major talent in the world of bonsai, national and international. Conducts regular seminars and workshops throughout Europe, consolidating a network of contacts and relationships with experts in the sector of each country, thanks to its specialized website that is all the equipment that is inherent to bonsai, the plants he worked personally by Andrea from which to start a new path and a specific forum, followed by many enthusiasts of the sector.

            In December of 2013, Andrea embarks on his first long journey of work and study in Japan, living in direct contact with his teacher and absorbing the style and philosophy, with regard to the bonsai and to life itself.

            An experience that will change him profoundly and intimately, to the point of driving him to tell it in a book, in order to be able to convey those delicate and profound principles that permeate much of the thinking of the japanese, starting from that art so exquisitely in japan as the cultivation and growth of the bonsai, the Bonsai-Do: the means and the end, at the same time, for a journey of inner growth.
