Trip to Massachusetts: New England bonsai garden!

Recently, last April, I was in America for about ten days working at the New England Bonsai Garden.
It was a wonderful experience, I met so many new friends and at the same time I saw the old ones again (met most of the time in Japan).
Obviously now it is impossible to say thank to you all one by one, so I thank everyone from first to last!
It's been a very busy few days as my visit was for their spring festival (the biggest annual event they organise).
In addition to the demonstrations and conferences that I held during the event, I then held various workshops (for groups and individuals), and also worked on plants from the nursery and private collections.
I immediately received a wonderful welcome, I felt at home from the first moment! A place with beautiful people and the right air for doing bonsai!
Below are some photos of the structure and location.

I want especially thank Ashley for his availability and kindness, as well as for deciding to call me to start a journey together in his nursery.
Below are some photos during the event:

Personally, I am really very happy for the beautiful people I met and the pleasant bonsai days spent together.
The various students appreciated my work so much that they asked Ashley the possibility of starting my own school at their nursery, with one or two fixed annual appointments, thus undertaking an educational and training journey together to continue over time. We are just now planning the various things, and organizing the start of this new adventure!
At the same time I have received, and am still receiving, more messages from people interested in working with me from all over America (including Brazil). I therefore ask you, if you are interested, to let me know via email, or to contact Ashley directly in order to organize a single trip with chain dates and commitments for everyone's convenience.
Thank you so much for all the appreciation you shown me, I feel indebted.
I also inform you that New England Bonsai Garden will soon be the reference retailer for my book in the United States!

Some other shots during the event, together with various friends:)

During my stay I had the opportunity to see live the plant that won the first award as tropical essence last year at the American national exhibition, a truly stupendous tree!! Congratulations to Luis Carreiro who I greet with affection!
Below are some shots although it doesn't do justice to its beauty.

Below is the before and after on a juniper that I worked at the nursery. It was important to leave the natural dead wood visible (the focal point of the tree) as well as pruning the vegetation correctly in order to make it develop well without ugly or long branches.
At the same time the tree has acquired the right three-dimensionality and interest.

Here are some shots with dear friends: John Romano and Pete Olsen.
Fantastic and exquisite people, the time spent together was a real delight!
Both currently work at the New England Bonsai Garden, John also worked at Taishoen several years ago with Nobuichi Urushibata, my Master.

Well and with this I leave you, see you soon with the great news coming, keep tuned!
